The lumber industry reaction to the threat which Lucilles influencial activism had caused pamphlets such as this one to be to created. This pamphlet was utilized to counteract the growing concern generated around Lucille Vinyard's work.

This booklet of questions and answers perpetuates the interests of lumber companies by reassuring the public that their practices were sustainable.

These clippings sent to Lucille Vinyard highlight the negative public view that she, and the groups she was involved in, received. 

The resistance to Vinyard's work was not as mild as just pamphlets. People often reacted as if her work was a personal attack on their wellbeing. The national impact of this movement was made apparent by the opposite activism.
